Following on from the success of the first evening abstract painting course, we have extended the sessions to six weeks to give you more creative play and freedom. If you’ve ever felt stuck with your art, found abstract painting challenging, or simply want to loosen up, this course is for you. You’ll explore playful exercises that move beyond representational work to create dynamic abstract pieces full of energy, feeling, and personal meaning. Taught by experienced artist Jo Morley, this evening class helps you build confidence, learn formal art principles, and discover your own visual language.

Wednesdays 7th Jan – 11th Feb, 6–8.30 pm.

Large canvas included, bring your own materials if desired. Full access to easels and studio. Free parking, 5-minute walk from Bitterne Station.

Taught by experienced artist and educator Jo Morley, this evening class is designed to support you in building confidence, learning formal art principles, and discovering your own visual language.
